Quick Update

Hey everyone...I just wanted to give you a quick update on whats going on up here. The East Dorm project gets closer to completion by the day. It's exciting to see it change so quickly. The finishing touches on the outside are being completed. The electrician and the plumber are here today working on some finishing touches. It looks BEAUTIFUL!Shawn has been working hard on the new beds for the East Dorm. He got all of the frames completed and has now recruited Gabe to help him with the posts and other elements to the project. To be honest, any time they try (with much enthusiasm) to explain to me what they are doing, I look at them with a blank, uninterested stare. All I know is that they are going to be beautiful when they are done, which apparently will be soon!Danny (and his wife, Katy) have taken on a huge project of renovating the staff lounge in the Guest House. It was high time for that room to get some new carpet and become fun, relaxing environment. The staff lounge is the place the staff go...

Long Overdue Update

Hello Again! It has been a long time since we have updated you on the happenings of Elim, so I thought I would give you a quick one. We had our Grade School and Middle School winter programs over the past two weekends and have had several mid-week school groups including one here right now. It is nice to have camp filled through the week, but it doesn't leave room for much down time! Needless to say, between camps and the dorm renovation, we are busy! We had great groups at each of our winter camp retreats and one kid accept Christ during Grade School Winter Camp! Please pray with us that the words the kids have heard throughout the winter camps will continue to impact them back at home. Pray that they will continue to grow in faith and that the seeds planted in those that don't know Him would be nurtured outside of camp grounds. The East Dorm Project is moving along. It is fun to see the progress made every day. I am posting pictures today so hopefully you will be able to get a better idea of everything...
