MATCHING GIFT UPDATE!!!! - Thursday, November 20, 2008

We have reached the matching grant! Thank you to all who were praying for this and to those who gave generously to reach the goal. We are currently waiting on permits to begin the East Dorm renovation. Dan also had a good meeting with the Forest Service this week. The Land Exchange is moving forward as well. Please continue to pray for the funds we need for this project and God's hand in every step that we take along the way.

Summer's End

Hey everyone! James here, a mere part-time staffer. The full-time staff is enjoying a well-deserved and much-needed hiatus. But by this weekend they'll be back into full swing, kicking off with the Men's Retreat! I've been asked to write a brief note letting you in on this summer, primarily because we haven't posted since the beginning of June! But it's true what they say, "no news is good news!" We've been a little too busy to blog, but we've all had the opportunity to watch God do amazing things through our meager efforts! More specifically, 25 campers made a proclamation of faith for the very first time and 49 more let us know they wanted to rededicate their lives to the Lord Jesus Christ! And we have no way of counting all the hundreds of campers that have drawn closer to our heavenly Father in only a week's time!
