Hey everyone...I just wanted to give you a quick update on whats going on up here. The East Dorm project gets closer to completion by the day. It's exciting to see it change so quickly. The finishing touches on the outside are being completed. The electrician and the plumber are here today working on some finishing touches. It looks BEAUTIFUL!
Shawn has been working hard on the new beds for the East Dorm. He got all of the frames completed and has now recruited Gabe to help him with the posts and other elements to the project. To be honest, any time they try (with much enthusiasm) to explain to me what they are doing, I look at them with a blank, uninterested stare. All I know is that they are going to be beautiful when they are done, which apparently will be soon!
Danny (and his wife, Katy) have taken on a huge project of renovating the staff lounge in the Guest House. It was high time for that room to get some new carpet and become fun, relaxing environment. The staff lounge is the place the staff go to play and unwind during our camps and rentals. Danny and Katy's design is amazing and it has been transformed into a brand new place.
Otherwise, we are continuing to get summer registrations and gearing up for the women's retreat and the upcoming summer season. I can't believe it is almost April already! Wow, does time fly. Hope to see you soon!

Thanks for the update! I am so looking forward to coming up to see the new East Dorm and the new Staff Lounge! Summer is almost here--although you can't tell by the weather.
