Don’t miss Camp Elim’s sixteenth annual Heritage Retreat! Come to all or part of this two-day event for campers ages 50 and older, which will be held one day each in Colorado Springs and at Camp Elim! You’ll enjoy great fellowship with many friends, new and old, from around the state, delicious food, beautiful music, and excellent teaching.
On Tuesday we’ll enjoy our annual fall color tour to get an up-close glimpse of God’s beautiful creation.
Overnight lodging is available upon request. Dinner is on your own on Monday evening, but we can have a room ready for you!
There is no charge for the retreat but, we need to know if you’re coming, so please let us know by registering online, by calling 719-687-2030 or by emailing our office.

Our Speaker
Our speaker for the 2023 Heritage Retreat is Dave Michaux.
Dave was born in Dallas, Texas and moved to Colorado Springs as a child. The Lord used the move to bring his family to Christ. He attended school in Colorado Springs and college at Emmaus Bible School in Oak Park, Illinois, where he met his wife Lynn, who has been his great companion and coworker for the past 53 years. Dave and Lynn have two adult married children, five grandchildren, and one grandson-in-law.
Dave's "home base" has been Northeast Bible Chapel, but he has also had had the opportunity to be involved in two church plants in Colorado Springs. After a short period of time of evangelism in Ireland, Dave's teaching career began at Colorado Springs Christian School where he was a Bible teacher and administrator for 45 years and now serves on the Board of Directors.
Dave has joyfully served at in various camp ministries over the years, and has had the privilege to speak to campers of all ages at Camp Elim for the past 50 years.
