2019 Women's Retreat
April 26-28, 2019
This year’s speaker is Mimi Wilson, a returning favorite at Camp Elim, and author of Holy Habits: a Woman’s Guide to Intentional Living.
Mimi and her husband, Cal, have spent many years living in places such as Ecuador, Jordan, and Rwanda. They have three children, and several grandchildren.
Mimi co-authored with Mary Beth Lagerborg the best-selling book Once-a-Month Cooking, which is based upon a cooking system she devised to save time and consistently provide tasty meals for her family and company. In their second book, Table Talk, Mimi and Mary Beth gave voice to their desire to make home an oasis and make mealtime a time for family and friends to connect in a fast-paced world.
Mimi’s third and fourth books, Holy Habits and Trusting in the Goodness of God, were co-authored with her prayer partner in Ecuador, Shelly Volkhardt. They are both a passionate study of the character of God, and how His character can affect our daily lives. She has been studying and practicing hospitality for many years, and finding in this even more facets of God’s character. The Wilsons have settled down in Denver, but continue a world-wide ministry.
Daughters ages 13-18 can attend for half-price.
*Individual day rates do not include lodging.
Those electing to find sleeping accommodations elsewhere may deduct $15 per person per night from the $140 registration fee for the entire retreat.
