Hey everyone! James here, a mere part-time staffer. The full-time staff is enjoying a well-deserved and much-needed hiatus. But by this weekend they'll be back into full swing, kicking off with the Men's Retreat!
I've been asked to write a brief note letting you in on this summer, primarily because we haven't posted since the beginning of June! But it's true what they say, "no news is good news!" We've been a little too busy to blog, but we've all had the opportunity to watch God do amazing things through our meager efforts! More specifically, 25 campers made a proclamation of faith for the very first time and 49 more let us know they wanted to rededicate their lives to the Lord Jesus Christ! And we have no way of counting all the hundreds of campers that have drawn closer to our heavenly Father in only a week's time! We're nearing the end of our Servant Leader Training Week. It has been a fun week getting to know our summer staff and also serving our guest group...LifeBridge Church from Longmont, CO. LifeBridge was here with their middle school group and their leaders told us that 15 made professions of faith in Christ and 10 rededicated their lives to the Lord. It's exciting for us to hear those kinds of things and affirm in our minds the value of guest groups.
We're looking forward to our Dedication Day this Saturday. It's great to get families up here to see the camp and encourage the staff as we start the summer. Hope to see you here!!!
