Heritage Retreat
September 25-26, 2023
Don’t miss Camp Elim’s fifteenth annual Heritage Retreat! Come to all or part of this two-day event for campers ages 50 and older, which will be held one day each in Colorado Springs and at Camp Elim! You’ll enjoy great fellowship with many friends, new and old, from around the state, delicious food, beautiful music, and excellent teaching.
On Tuesday we’ll enjoy our annual fall color tour to get an up-close glimpse of God’s beautiful creation.
Overnight lodging is available. Dinner is on your own on Monday evening, but we can have a room ready for you!
There is no charge for the retreat but, we need to know if you’re coming, so please let us know by registering online, by calling 719-687-2030 or by emailing office@campelim.com.
Our Speaker
Our speaker for the 2022 Heritage Retreat is Dave Michaux.
Dave has been involved at Camp Elim for decades, and has served as camp speaker on many occasions. It's not uncommon to see him sitting on a bench with a group of campers, helping them walk through the Gospel and leading them to Christ! We're grateful for his ministry here over the years.
Dave Michaux is a resident of Colorado Springs. His parents moved from Texas when he was seven years old. It was here in Colorado Springs that he and his family came to know the Lord. Dave currently attends Northeast Bible Chapel. His children are both married and he has 5 grandchildren.
Dave graduated from Emmaus Bible College where he met his wife, Lynn. He worked at the Colorado Springs Christian Schools for 45 years as a Bible teacher, administrator and lastly as the Chaplain.
The Lord has allowed him to be preaching and teaching for 50 plus years to every age group in churches, conferences, and camps.
