God's Upside-Down Kingdom
September 13-15, 2024
Men's Retreat is a time for men to reconnect with old friends and forge new friendships as they encourage and challenge one another. Join us for a refreshing weekend full of Biblical teaching, moving worship, and incredible food! On Saturday, there are several exciting off-site excursions available, so you can relax with a favorite hobby or try your hand at something new!
Invite your friends, co-workers, brothers, in-laws, fathers, and sons! Sons ages 13-18 get in for half the registration cost. The Men's Retreat is open to all men ages 13 and up.
Our Speaker
Our speaker for the 2024 Men's Retreat is Drew Gardner.
Drew has been the Executive Director of Bair Lake Bible Camp since June 2018. He is an attorney by training who graduated from The Ohio State University College of Law and then practiced law as a JAG Attorney in the United States Air Force and as the Chief of Litigation for the Christian Law Association, where he defended religious liberty in cases across America. After God called Drew into pastoral ministry during his time at the Christian Law Association, he served as the pastor of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Northwest Ohio for ten years.
Drew and his wife Kelly have been married since 1990 and have ten children and two grandsons.

If you enjoy golf, then join others with a passion for the game and you play a round at Woodland Park's own Shining Mountain Golf Club. The course is conveniently located just a short drive away from Camp on Highway 67. Tee times are limited to the first 16 to sign up, so check with Camp Elim's office to secure your spot. Price varies $35-$75/person depending on number of holes and cart included.
Fishing
Go fishing with the guys! The Platte River by Deckers, 11 Mile Canyon, 11 Mile Reservoir, Rampart Reservoir, and Manitou Lake are all close to Camp and offer excellent lake or fly fishing options! So grab your waders or bait a hook and see what bites!
Canoeing
If you enjoy canoeing or open-water kayaking, join the group which will be heading out for one of the local reservoirs for a day on the lake. Even bring along your pole, if you like, and try trolling for the big one!
